How long will the food stay fresh?

If you refrigerate the meals immediately after delivery, your food will stay fresh for 4-5 days.

How many calories are in each meal?

Our typical entry is below 450 calories each however, the exact content varies according to the ingredients.  We believe that by eating quality ingredients your body takes care of the exact quantity that you need.

How do I warm up my meals?

To heat the food you can open the lid, put it on top of the container to prevent splatters and keep moist. Microwave 1-2 min. depending on your own settings

What is a Viva Foods subscription?

With signup and placement of your first subscription order, it will auto-renew. This means that we will send you weekly meals, but there is no minimum commitment. The next delivery will be on the same day as your first delivery of your last order.  You can skip up to 3 weeks or cancel at any time.

Please note that since we order and shop fresh ingredients prior to cooking, any deliveries scheduled for the next 72 hours have been processed and cannot be changed or canceled.

Is it easy to cancel my subscription?

Yes, all you have to do is send us an e-mail and  and you will receive an e-mail confirming your cancellation. Please note that since we order and shop fresh ingredients prior to cooking, any deliveries scheduled for the next 72 hours have been processed and cannot be changed or canceled.

Can I choose my meals?

Yes, you will receive our weekly menu and we encourage you to submit your menu choices. However, if we haven’t receive your menu choices by 11 p.m. on Thursday we will help you with the meal selection doing our best to match your dietary requirements.

What is your refund policy?

Our products and services are backed by a freshness and quality guarantee. If you are dissatisfied for any reason  just contact us by phone or e-mail. We may require photo documentation of the product with which you are dissatisfied on the day of its delivery. We can provide replacement meals but please not that food is a perishable item and we will not refund orders that have been placed less than 7 days ahead of the next delivery date or after 14 days your order has been placed. However you can cancel your subscription according to the following paragraph.


Can I recycle my containers?

Yes! We encourage the reduce of waste and the containers may be rinsed, they are perfect for leftovers. You can also rinse and return to us so we can sanitize them properly and re-use.

I have dietary allergies or restrictions, can you still cook for me?

Yes, if you have a non life-threatening food restriction. Please contact our team if you want us to omit an ingredient or modify a recipe. Please use your best judgment based on the severity of your restriction and keep in mind that we work in a facility where we can’t guarantee a free-allergen environment or utensils.
